We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed for loading and unloading products.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or courier services is beneficial.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; additional certifications for commercial driving are a plus.
