Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Crusher Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of heavy equipment and machinery, ensuring the successful completion of mining projects. Starting pay based on experience with room to grow.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain various heavy equipment such as loaders, dump trucks, backhoes, skidsteers, and other machinery.
- Assist in operating and maintaining various jaw, cone crusher and screening plants.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently to meet project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
-Fill out and complete daily forms and required paperwork.
- Follow project plans and specifications to achieve project goals.
-Candidate must be open to travel throughout the construction season. Our operation is portable, so we travel throughout northwest Wisconsin and sometimes get a little further from home. Most of our job sites however are within one hour of Webster, WI.
-Seasonal work dependent on weather conditions and workload; however, the typical schedule is March-November. Candidates can expect to work 60 hours per week. Exceptions may be made given weather delays and project deadlines.
-Per diem pay and hotel room provided when out of town.
Qualifications:
- Prior heavy equipment experience preferred but not necessary. Willing to train you in.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery effectively and safely.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
-Must be able to pass a drug test.
-Must have a valid driver's license.
-Must be on time.
-Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
