Are you a certified and passionate Aqua Fitness Instructor? Arlington Heights Park District is looking for our next Aqua Fitness Instructor to teach several deep and shallow aqua fitness classes a couple of times a month.
What We're Looking For:
- A current, active Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) certification
- A friendly, motivating presence to inspire our community
Class Details:
- Deep Aqua Fitness: Morning sessions, 6:30–8:00 AM
- Shallow Aqua Fitness: Flexible scheduling between 9:00–11:00 AM
- Start times may be adjusted to fit your availability!
Anticipated Hiring Range: $20-$35 DOQ
Part-Time Wages
JOB SPECIFIC INFORMATION
- Leads aqua fitness classes following the Park District's program, demonstrating techniques and guiding effective workouts.
- Evaluates sessions, recommending improvements or new exercises as needed.
- Prepares equipment, music, and materials for each class.
- Supervises participants, enforces pool rules, and ensures safety during sessions.
- Assists with pool setup, including lap lines and equipment.
- Participates in rescue drills, first aid reviews, and skill development activities.
- Maintains a clean, organized workspace and performs additional assigned duties.
