Golf- Golf Shop Attendant, Golf Cart Attendant, Driving Range

Located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Arlington Lakes Golf Club is a community favorite with a strong tradition of quality and service. Operated by the Arlington Heights Park District, we’re looking for motivated, team-oriented, and dependable individuals to join our team this Spring.

This position is seasonal and will average 15-20 hours weekly. This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend availability.

Salary Range is $15-$16 per hour DOQ.

Essential Job Duties

• Releases carts to golfers and keeps records of golf carts issued
• Takes keys from patrons when customers return golf carts and keeps an accurate log of golf cart keys
• Removes golf carts from the garage area and parks them in the rental area
• Checks the gas and oil levels in the golf carts and fills as needed
• Checks the golf carts for any mechanical problems, damage, or needed repairs upon return from patrons
• Cleans carts and removes trash upon return from patrons
• Washes golf carts each night and also when needed
• Completes golf cart repair sheets, as repairs are needed
• Performs the job safely and in compliance with District policies, procedures, work and safety rules, and the employee handbook
• Additional functions as assigned which may be considered essential

This position must possess the following qualifications:

• High school student, high school graduate, or G.E.D.
• Minimum age of 16 is required
• Minimum of one to two years experience in a customer service or light maintenance capacity
• Valid Illinois Class “D” driver’s license
• Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
