- Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, up to five hours per day, with varied hours based on the facility’s operating schedule, as determined by the Director of Recreation and Facilities.
- Seasonal Operations: Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- Work Hours: Includes nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- On-Call Expectations: Employees must be available on call whenever the need arises.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $15-$16/Hr. DOQ
Minimum Age: 16 years

JOB SPECIFIC INFORMATION
- Prepare, serve, and replenish concession products, collect payments for purchases and boat rentals, and respond to patron inquiries in person and by phone.
- Verify age requirements for boat rentals, close out the cash register with accurate deposit paperwork, and follow District policies, safety rules, and the employee handbook.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by wiping counters, cleaning tables, sweeping areas, and emptying trash with proper disposal practices.
- Accept, check, and stock deliveries, notify the Lake Arlington Manager of low supplies, and ensure concession areas are fully stocked.
- Attend work regularly, perform additional duties as assigned, and contribute to the safe and smooth operation of the facility.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school student, high school graduate or G.E.D.
- Minimum age of 16 is required
- IL Food Handler Certificate
- Village of Arlington Heights Food Service Certificate as required
- Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training
- CPR (Infant, Child and Adult), AED and First Aid Certification required within 30 days of employment; CPR, AED and First Aid Certification preferred
