The dining room bus person works with the dining room staff to ensure relaxing and

memorable dining experience for our guests. They clear and reset tables after guests leave. And help the servers when needed in aiding guests with beverage refills etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Attentive to guests needs.

• Collect and maintain cleanliness of menus.

• Between guests promptly clean and reset tables.

• Remove soiled linen and dishes from tray jacks as soon as possible.

• Check floors and sweep or mop as necessary.

• Maintain proper hygiene and hotel's dress code policy.

• Assist server when needed.

• Thank guests as they leave.

• Complete daily set up procedures.

• Maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude always.

• Have knowledge of all hotel facilities, services, and hours of operation.

• Have knowledge of entertainment and special events scheduled in the hotel.

• Adhere to hotel's dress code policy.

• Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage preferred.

• Must be able to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy times.

• Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail.

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking most of day.

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays.

• Stooping and kneeling throughout the day.

• Be able to listen to a lot of noise in the area.

• Speak clearly.
