What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Services Parking Attendant position at ARLINGTON HOTEL?
Job Summary:
THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Provide guests with exceptional customer service. Establish if they are an overnight guest or using the services of the hotel. Provide parking options, answer questions, issue the proper parking ticket. Secure the guests assets in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of all parking options offered by hotel and communicate clearly to guests
- Offer to assist and secure luggage to every guest
- Follow the key FOB handling procedures
- Follow all hotel safety procedures
- Ensure the entire valet area is always free of trash and debris, including the office and lobby
entrance.
- Always keep bell carts clean and polished
- Manage storage and retrieval of guest luggage
- Report incidents, accidents and/or complaints to garage manager/supervisor or MOD
- Write valet and events tickets and transactions in a legible manner
- Other duties assigned by the garage manager Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional and positive demeanor.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and functions well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Moderate to heavy lifting
- Background check
- Ability to pass driving and in-house test
- Clean driving record
- 25 years or older
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug screening
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
