**About the Job:**
The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to animal care, including restraint, triage, lab sample collection and analysis, diagnostic imaging, and administration of medications. You will also provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases, communicate effectively with clients, and assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises, and may be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**
We are looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with an active license required, 2 years of professional experience required. You should have excellent client communication and medical record management skills, comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures and hospital operations, expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques, and proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens. Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture, as well as anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring, is highly desirable.
