Job Duties
">- Animal Restraint: Safely restrain animals during medical procedures to minimize stress and anxiety.
- Triage of Incoming Patients: Assess patients' conditions and prioritize treatment accordingly.
- Collection and Analysis of Lab Samples: Collect and analyze lab samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Diagnostics Imaging: Perform radiographic imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Management and Nursing Care of Medical and Hospitalized Cases: Provide medical and nursing care to patients requiring hospitalization or specialized attention.
- Administration of Medications: Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Effective Communication of Treatment Plans with Clients: Communicate treatment plans effectively with clients to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Surgical Preparation and Assistance: Prepare patients for surgery and assist veterinarians during surgical procedures.
- Anesthetic Management: Monitor patients under anesthesia to ensure safety and effective administration.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
