JOB DESCRIPTION: Professional Day and Orientation: July 1, 2, and 3 (3rd is ½ day only) Program Dates: July 7, 2025 - August 1, 2025 Location: Dorothy Hamm Model: IN-PERSON RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize, implement appropriate instruction based on student’s IEP goals Adapt instruction, assignments and curriculum depending on the needs of the students Collect data on student critical life skill goals Provide accommodations and modifications for students as needed Working collaboratively with school staff, student services staff, and families Plan and organize activities to be carried out by an assistant if assigned EXPERIENCE: Teaching students with disabilities Working with a variety of ability /grade levels (classes are multi-graded) QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a valid license (or provisional license) in special education Knowledge of best practices and experience teaching students with disabilities Knowledge of the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with disabilities CONTACT INFORMATION: Instructions once hired: Once you have been hired, then you will need to sign your assignment letter and return it to HR through the link they send you.
