What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School Substitute Assistant (INTERNAL ONLY) position at Arlington Public Schools?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an organized classroom situation during the day.
- Follow the plans left by the teacher.
- Request help from another teacher, department head or principal if uncertain about procedures and policies.
- Assist students who need help.
- Assume responsibility for the care of the textbooks, machines, equipment and supplies of all kinds.
- Leave plans and all student work where the teachers will be able to find them upon their return.
- Correct papers, if requested by the teacher and if time permits.
- Leave notations for the teacher indicating work completed and other information you deem appropriate.
- Leave the room in order.
