Summary

   

Tetra Tech is recruiting experienced Energy Sector professionals to fill multiple positions to support projects for public sector and commercial clients. Applicants will be considered for part-time or full-time positions.

 

Responsibilities

Applicants should be mid- to senior-level experts with demonstrated work experience in one or more of the following subject matters:

  • Technical due-diligence, feasibility studies and implementation of transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.
  • Power sector master planning, integrated resource and resilience planning, system modelling and analyses.
  • Demand forecasting, renewable energy generation forecasting and system operations including scheduling and dispatch.
  • Electric utility management, modernization and performance improvement.
  • Management of donor funded power sector infrastructure programs and projects.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector covering one or more areas listed above.
  • Experience managing energy projects funded by donors, developers and/or other commercial entities.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional level fluency in French and English (reading, writing and presentation skills).

 Preferred but not Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
  • Prior experience working for electric utilities, national government, or international organization.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC form of contracting.
