Summary
Tetra Tech is recruiting experienced Energy Sector professionals to fill multiple positions to support projects for public sector and commercial clients. Applicants will be considered for part-time or full-time positions.
Responsibilities
Applicants should be mid- to senior-level experts with demonstrated work experience in one or more of the following subject matters:
- Technical due-diligence, feasibility studies and implementation of transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.
- Power sector master planning, integrated resource and resilience planning, system modelling and analyses.
- Demand forecasting, renewable energy generation forecasting and system operations including scheduling and dispatch.
- Electric utility management, modernization and performance improvement.
- Management of donor funded power sector infrastructure programs and projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector covering one or more areas listed above.
- Experience managing energy projects funded by donors, developers and/or other commercial entities.
- Ability to build effective relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Professional level fluency in French and English (reading, writing and presentation skills).
Preferred but not Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
- Prior experience working for electric utilities, national government, or international organization.
- Knowledge of FIDIC form of contracting.
