This position requires expertise in agile methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic military healthcare environment.
Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of healthcare IT systems, software development, and system integration within the military healthcare environment. This role is crucial in providing expert guidance on technical aspects of MHS applications and ensuring the implementation of best practices in software development and system architecture.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to :
The Technical SME will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and leadership for MHS applications. Key responsibilities include :
- Serve as the primary technical expert for specific MHS applications and related technologies.
- Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of complex healthcare IT solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architectural designs.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
- Guide the implementation of best practices in software development, system integration, and data management.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level support for critical problems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance MHS applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on technical best practices and emerging technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure the implementation of robust security measures in MHS applications.
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in healthcare IT and software development.
