We’re looking for a Software Engineering Manager to build and lead our new Client Engineering Platform and Insights team. This role is key to driving scalable, innovative solutions that empower our engineering teams and strategic partners while shaping the future of our client platforms.
You’ll be responsible for building a high-performing team, defining our client platform strategy, and fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. Your work will enhance our ability to integrate new capabilities at scale, leverage cutting-edge technologies, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
By harnessing data and insights, you'll help teams make informed decisions and develop features that resonate with our customers. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership, ensuring our platform solutions align with business goals while optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop Teams: Build, mentor, and manage a team of talented engineers across iOS, Android and Web platforms, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Drive Platform Excellence: Guide the team in defining and executing a technical roadmap for client platforms, ensuring delivery of high-quality, user-friendly products.
Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with Product, UX, and Partner teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives, translating requirements into actionable technical strategies that scale across teams and customer segments.
Innovate & Implement: Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and methodologies into our engineering practices, ensuring our platforms remain robust and scalable.
Drive Performance & Quality: Advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and performance, ensuring the team builds scalable and maintainable solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
Technical Proficiency: Strong background in building and delivering products in at least one major platform (iOS, and Android preferred) using modern tech stacks (e.g. Swift, Kotlin, or modern web frameworks).
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, develop, and inspire a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Collaboration & Communication: Experience working cross-functionally with Product, UX, and other stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations, and deliver on project goals.
Problem-Solver: Strategic thinker who can identify challenges and opportunities, implementing solutions that deliver measurable impact.
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between USD$165,000-225,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
