Arlo Inc. is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Senior Wireless RF/System Engineer to join Arlo’s RF/Wireless team.
Job Responsibilities
As a Wireless RF/System Engineer, you will:
Participate in the design, development, and integration of wireless technologies into Arlo products.
Perform chip-level radio tests, including RF performance and protocol behavior analysis.
Conduct wireless product-level testing in both controlled and real-world environments.
Collaborate with Hardware and FW teams to design, implement, and test key wireless networking features.
Create detailed test reports using MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and other tools.
Assist in the design and development of wireless test systems and fixtures.
The following qualifications are mandatory for all candidates:
BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of 802.11 WiFi radio performance and PHY-layer behavior (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
Experience designing and integrating 802.15 IoT radio circuits, including Bluetooth, Sub-GHz, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Thread, etc.
Ability to analyze system integration issues, including throughput, coexistence, current consumption, desense, etc.
Experience with RF/wireless test equipment, such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Vector Network Analyzers, Wireshark Protocol Analyzer, Current Analyzer, etc.
Ability to use common lab equipment, including soldering stations and microscopes to assemble prototypes and rework SMT components.
Experience with Python scripting, NI LabVIEW, and other test automation tools is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, either professional or academic.
Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Location: Carlsbad, In-person, WFH is not an option for this position.
Percent of Travel Required: <5%
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between $123,000 – 170,000/year, plus equity. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits. Details of all benefits will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
