The F-35 Joint Program Office (F-35 JPO) requires Export Compliance Specialists to support its critical mission of developing, deploying and sustaining the next generation strike fighter aircraft. The Export Compliance Specialist will assist the Government in facilitating export related policy activities and support the F-35 Export Compliance Office including, but not limited to the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation and coordination of presentations for committee review.
- Interact with applicable interagency partners such as the Department of State for export licenses.
- Interpret/maintain export-related documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Export Compliance Specialist will demonstrate knowledge and experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) licensing applications and review process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft programs and systems.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Minimum/General Experience:
- Active SECRET Security Clearance.
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) licensing applications/review process, and export-related documentation.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in the stated discipline or 6 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree Or,
- Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
