Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Group Facilitator to lead group sessions for individuals in need of support and guidance. This role requires someone who can manage a flexible schedule, including both daytime and evening hours, with typical shifts running from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The facilitator will play a key role in helping participants through structured group discussions and activities, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health and substance abuse recovery, in line with Armada Recovery’s treatment protocols.
Establish open lines of communication for individuals experiencing substance abuse, mental, or emotional challenges.
Provide support and guidance to group participants through structured group discussions.
Ensure all group-related documentation, including session notes, participant attendance, and progress reports, is completed promptly and accurately.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a positive group atmosphere and ensure consistency in the delivery of services.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices in group facilitation and client care.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field).
Experience: Previous experience facilitating groups or working with vulnerable populations is preferred but not required.
