Job description
MUST POSSESS A CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SUPPORTER LICENSE
Duties
- Must possess Peer Support Certification
- Provide support and guidance to individuals facing behavioral health challenges
- Conduct motivational interviewing and peer support sessions to assist clients in making positive changes
- Assist with crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Collaborate with other licensed professionals, such as social workers and mental health counselors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Utilize knowledge of addiction and mental health techniques to support clients in their recovery journey
- Offer mentoring and guidance to individuals seeking to improve their overall well-being
Qualifications
- Must possess Peer Support Certification
- High school diploma/GED or a degree in a related field (e.g., case management, social work, psychology, counseling)
- Experience working in behavioral health or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of collaborative interventions and management techniques
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing and behavioral health theories
- Familiarity with addictions and mental health principles
- Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other professionals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals in need

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Choose your own hours
