ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Reports to : Program Manager
Resident Support : Provide comprehensive support during resident intake, orientation, and discharge processes. Help new residents understand the policies and procedures upon intake. Check in with all residents on a daily basis .
Health Monitoring : A dminister urine screens, and perform room searches, ensuring all procedures are documented accurately.
Facility Upkeep : Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and supply levels of the unit . C heck safety equipment for efficacy and periodically check to make sure there are no physical safety hazards (overloaded outlets, extension cords, etc ).
Record Keeping : Keep detailed resident records and ensure availability of necessary documentation on the unit.
Room Management : Manage the turnover of resident rooms and beds, ensuring they are clean and ready for new resident s.
Crisis Response : Act promptly during resident crises and emergencies, providing necessary assistance . Collaborative Care : Engage in treatment team meetings and case conferences, contributing to the continuum of care.
Safety Procedures : Assist in conducting fire drills, safety inspections, and compiling reports for building and vehicle maintenance.
Supervisory Meetings : Regularly meet with supervisors to review performance and receive guidance.
Medication Oversight : Oversee medication distribution and monitor community areas, documenting any significant occurrences.
Nightly Checks : Perform bed checks on the third shift at regular intervals to ensure resident safety.
Role Modeling : Exhibit positive behavior and participate in agency events, serving as a role model for residents .
Professionalism : Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, representing the facility to the public.
Resident Transportation : Provide transportation for residents as necessary, holding a valid driver's license.
Adaptability : Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as required by the facility's needs.
