SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence Intern will be responsible for the design, development and support of Armada’s business intelligence solutions that meet corporate and departmental reporting and analytic needs. The individual will use their development and reporting experience and guidance from other team members to implement robust, reliable solutions that meet business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence solutions with guidance from the BI Report Developers/Manager
- Interact with stakeholders to gather and interpret report requirements.
- Translate Business Requirement Documents into deliverables.
- Utilize effective data visualization techniques.
- Participate in different stages of the report development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain self-serve reporting solutions.
- Test and validate data in reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirement
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Mathematics, or related discipline is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and summarize it into a report.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and with little supervision.
Language and Technical Skills requirement
- Exposure to SQL language and an understanding of database concepts
- Knowledge of report development and automation
- Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and/or Python desirable
- Experience developing reports with Power BI or similar visualization technologies desirable.
- Exposure to Cloud Technologies such as MS Azure or AWS
- Understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, terms, and concepts a plus.
