SUMMARY
Lead employee training and process improvement initiatives for Armada Transportation Solutions (ATS). This position will focus on process development, standardization and adherence, communication protocols, and user adoption of systems, including TMS (MercuryGate), load tracking (FourKites), data analysis (PRO Platform) and visualization (Power BI) applications. This role ensures that operations staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to optimize transportation management through SOP adherence, technology utilization, and exceptional customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and supervise training programs for employees on ATS systems and processes, including developing material, coordinating meetings, presenting content, compiling and distributing post-meeting notes, summarizing attendance data, and measuring effectiveness. Perform or assist in training as necessary.
- Monitor and ensure employee adherence to established processes, communication protocols, and technology utilization.
- Recommend new procedures and systems to streamline the training process and enhance the employee training experience.
- Recommend and support the rollout of ATS system and process enhancements to improve workflows and efficiencies.
- Collaborate with ATS management teams to identify opportunity areas and support the implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Develop/Refine metrics, data analysis, and exception signals as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- Support & provide training related to transportation operations systems and processes to other Armada functional groups as required.
- Oversee the further development and maintenance of the ATS Corporate Portal, focusing on content creation, visual design, and the publication of training resources to enhance departmental culture and communication.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential new hires and existing employees.
- Support and train teams on new business implementation requirements.
- Provide Transportation Operations management support when necessary.
- Assist in routine and ad-hoc transportation analysis and reporting.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 5 years supply chain management experience
- Previous employee training and process improvement experience strongly preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred
Language and Technical Skills requirement
- Strong systems knowledge, experience including TMS and reporting applications (MercuryGate, FourKites, 24TRACC, C3).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Forms, Sharepoint
- Solid understanding of transportation terms and concepts
