Experienced and results-driven professional with expertise in internal auditing, data analytics, and consulting. Proven track record of leading client engagements from start to finish, driving business growth through relationship-building, and ensuring high standards of execution. Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, mentoring teams, and applying advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Alteryx, ACL, Python, PowerBI) to optimize audit processes. Dedicated to enhancing business operations, managing risk, and delivering actionable recommendations that align with client objectives. Seeking to leverage a strong background in business processes, internal controls, and data-driven solutions to contribute to the continued success of the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and improve execution of audits and consulting engagements.
Schedule and ensure timely completion of client projects and staff training.
Manage revenue, WIP, and accounts receivable.
Oversee client engagements from planning to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Foster new business through existing and new client relationships.
Maintain the highest professional standards and client confidentiality.
Participate in industry networking events and provide presentations to prospective clients.
Supervise, train, and mentor staff, providing feedback and identifying development needs.
Act as a Performance Coach for Audit Analytic professionals.
Technical:
Maintain expertise in data analysis tools (Alteryx, ACL, Python, R, PowerBI).
Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection protocols.
Develop and manage data-intensive audit plans.
Oversee multiple engagements, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and billing.
Apply knowledge of internal controls, business operations, and accounting principles.
Collaborate with Partners and Directors to develop project plans and define deliverables.
Conduct data analysis, internal audits, and process evaluations.
Identify risks, validate issues, and offer proactive recommendations.
Ensure thorough completion of workpapers and audit reports.
Delegate and mentor staff to meet project goals and development objectives.
Competencies:
Strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and accounting.
Familiarity with finance, economics, and tax reporting preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage changing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a public accounting firm or in a corporate focused automation & analytics role.
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
Expertise in data analytics tools (Alteryx, ACL, Python, R, PowerBI).
Preferred Qualifications:
ACL Certified Data Analyst, CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CrFA certification
