Position Summary:
The Cybersecurity Analyst Expert brings experience in leading teams of security analysts, utilizing a deep understanding of security principles, policies, and regulations to drive effective risk management. With comprehensive knowledge of security disciplines, this role involves identifying potential risks within security systems and collaborating with technical specialists to address and resolve these issues. The successful candidate will excel in distilling complex information from discussions into clear, concise narrative or graphic reports. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
• Provide RMF/A&A expertise applied to systems and policy.
• Create, review, and maintain security patterns for a variety of technologies and use cases.
• Lead technical security initiatives.
• Create and deliver (live and recorded) technical security trainings.
• Ensure transparent communication, project priorities and effective team efforts

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or technical discipline required. 7 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- 10 years relevant experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- VA or other Federal Government experience required.
- Expert-level knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications.
- Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and related terminology as it relates to Information Security/Information Assurance.
- Self-motivated and able to work in an independent manner or as part of a team.
- Able to write and talk about technical security issues in a clear, concise manner.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP
- Vulnerability and Patch Management: Experienced in Asset Management, Vulnerability Scanning (Tenable Nessus, Hailstorm, AppDetective), Vulnerability Remediation (BigFix, SCCM), Secure Configurations support (i.e. DISA STIGS), and Security Advisory notifications
- Familiar with creating security diagram overlays and updates, determining security requirement, and security mitigation implementation
Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
