Sales Consultant (No Cold Calling)

This position is based out of Leavenworth, Kansas, just northwest of Kansas City.

For this position, the cost of your Property & Casualty license will be covered by our company.

Additionally, we will pay you for the study time required for the licensing exam.

Compensation

Starting Pay $48,500-$56,500, depending on experience.

We do not pay commissions. This is the hourly rate of pay.

Work From Home Requirements

This position may be eligible for 50% telecommuting after training period and satisfactory job performance.

Must Have Qualifications

• 4 years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services environment,
• 4 years of higher education, college credit hours, Associate's Degree, or BA/BS Degree may be substituted for experience
• Or currently a licensed representative in a property/casualty insurance company
• Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm
• Competent written communications skills
• Excellent verbal communications skills, to include a courteous, confident demeanor and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary
• Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
• Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures

What Professional Education Requirements Do I Need To Obtain

• Ability to obtain the state agent’s Property & Casualty personal lines license within 90 days in the position, and to maintain an unrestricted license thereafter*
• Completion of insurance designation or equivalent professional designation within 33 months in the position*
