Summary
We are seeking an Attendant to join our team at the Armed Services YMCA. In this role, you will provide essential support in our food service operations, contributing to a welcoming environment for military families. Your efforts will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of our community members.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and service during events and daily operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas and food service stations.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly.
- Support dietary aides in meal planning and special dietary requirements.
- Help coordinate and ensure smooth execution of events.
- Maintain food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Requirements
- 3 years experience in food service or hospitality required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Food Handlers Certification is required.
- 2 years of Management experience is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-starter.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
