Overview
We are a new upscale fine dining restaurant seeking a dedicated and passionate Fine Dining Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests in a refined dining environment, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality , Mixology ,and the fine dining industry, demonstrating a commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate orders using the Toast POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Collaborate with kitchen Manager to ensure seamless service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Offering wine service to the table and upselling cocktails
- Bussing and clearing tables between courses and marking tables between courses
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, offering assistance as needed to enhance their experience.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing and bill calculations.
- Basic knowledge and experience of crafting cocktails and mixology
- Proficiency in Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Experience in the food industry with a solid understanding of food handling practices.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a fine dining setting.
Pay and Benefits
1) The Hourly rate is minimum wage including 18% auto gratuity , and guests can tip you additional.
2) Free comp meal from menu in addition to break
