As a Regulatory Compliance Animal Health Specialist at Armor Animal Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our animal health and veterinary products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Information Verification: Verify patient information on prescription orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prescription Processing: Enter prescriptions into our pharmacy software system, prepare prescriptions, label containers, and file prescriptions for pharmacist review before dispensing to patients.
- Patient File Maintenance: Establish and maintain accurate patient files.
- Team Collaboration: Work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and collaborate with other team members to achieve our goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certification: Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is required. Renewal certification must be completed every two years.
- Experience: At least one year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Continuing Education: Twenty hours of continuing education, including one hour of Pharmacy Law, are required for certificate renewal.
