Job Purpose and Reporting Structure :
Under the guidance of the Shipping Supervisor, this associate will be responsible for accurately pulling and packing products shipped to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accurately pulling products from shelves
- Applying RX labels to applicable product to ensure regulatory compliance
- Carefully packaging product to be shipped to our customers
- Labeling and stocking shelves with newly received products
- LEAN processes : dusting, sweeping, making cooler boxes, organizing ice packs.

Qualification Requirements : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience : Requires a high school diploma.
Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze and interpret pick tickets. Ability to write business correspondence via email. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Other skills and Abilities : Ability to operate a computer, fork-lift certified, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure. Farm experience and animal health knowledge a plus. Ability to follow directions, prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.
Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and / or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 60 pounds up to waist level. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.
Tools / Equipment Used : Forklift, iPod scanner, Box knife, pushcart, hand jack, two-wheel cart, barrel cart, ladders, tape gun, pallet wrapper and computer.
Work Environment : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moderate cold / heat conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually mid-level to loud.
Protective clothing / equipment required : Closed toed shoes, gloves when handling sharp or abrasive objects.
