As a Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, crafting delicious beverages, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brewpub's culture.
- Provide extensive knowledge of our craft beers, including flavor profiles, brewing processes, and recommended pairings, to guide guests in their beer selection.
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft beer-based cocktails, as well as traditional cocktails, wine, and other beverages, according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all drink orders are prepared promptly and accurately, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests, answering questions, providing recommendations, and offering outstanding customer service throughout their visit.
- Effectively handle cash and credit transactions, utilizing the POS system and following proper procedures.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and utensils.
- Collaborate with the bar manager and kitchen team to create and implement special promotions, themed events, and seasonal drink menus.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all health and safety regulations, ensuring responsible alcohol service and compliance at all times.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment, preferably with a focus on craft beer.
- Strong knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing processes, and a genuine enthusiasm for the craft beer industry.
- Proficient mixology skills, including the ability to create unique craft beer cocktails.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
