We are seeking a passionate and driven General Manager (GM) to lead our team and drive operational excellence.
Position Summary :
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Armor Brewing Company, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business success. The GM will lead all aspects of the business, including financial performance, staff management, food and beverage operations, and guest experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about craft beer and hospitality, and can cultivate a strong company culture aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities : Operational Leadership :
- Oversee all brewpub operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures that align with the company's goals and brand standards.
- Ensure all local, state, and federal health, safety, and alcohol regulations are strictly followed.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while controlling costs.
- Collaborate with the brewing and culinary teams to maintain menu consistency, quality, and innovation.
Financial Management :
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.Analyze sales trends, labor costs, and inventory reports to optimize profitability.Implement strategies to drive revenue growth through promotions, events, and guest engagement.Oversee payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting in coordination with ownership.Staff Leadership & Development :
Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team dedicated to excellence.Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment through clear communication and strong leadership.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.Ensure adequate staffing levels while managing labor costs effectively.Guest Experience & Community Engagement :
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.Foster relationships with customers, local businesses, and community organizations to enhance brand presence.Plan and oversee in-house events, private parties, and promotional activities.Marketing & Brand Representation :
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, social media strategies, and events.Serve as a brand ambassador for Armor Brewing Company, engaging with customers both in-person and online.Implement loyalty programs, seasonal promotions, and unique activations to drive customer engagement.Qualifications & Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in a General Manager or similar leadership role within the full-service restaurant industry.Strong understanding of food & beverage operations, craft beer, and hospitality best practices.Cicerone Certification will be required for this role within first 120 days of employment.Proven track record of driving sales and managing financial performance.Experience in hiring, training, and leading high-performing teams.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success.Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and financial reporting.TABC and Food Handler certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).Why Join Armor Brewing Company?
