What You’ll Do:
- Load and unload building materials for customer orders
- Unload freight including lumber & building materials
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Assist customers with their orders in a friendly, helpful manner
- Safely deliver materials to job sites using company trucks
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Safety-Oriented: Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations and make decisions on the go
- Dependability: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
