Responsibilities:
- Coach and instruct individuals or teams in tumbling for cheerleading: round offs, back handsprings, back tucks, full, etc.
- Develop and implement training programs and practice sessions to improve skills and performance
- Provide guidance and support to athletes, including behavior management and discipline when necessary
- Educate athletes on the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices, games, or events
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of athletes and provide feedback for improvement
Experience:
- Previous experience in coaching or playing the specific sport is preferred
- Knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or educational setting
- Ability to effectively communicate and motivate athletes of different ages and skill levels
- CPR/AED certification is a plus
