This specialized inpatient rehabilitation hospital provides intensive therapy and medical care for both adult and pediatric patients recovering from serious illnesses, injuries, and surgeries.
Hospital Overview:
- Total Beds: 98
- Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation Beds: 80
- Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Beds: 18
Key Features:
- Patients receive at least 3 hours of therapy per day, 5 days a week.
- Interdisciplinary care team approach to ensure holistic recovery.
- Specialized therapy gyms and adaptive equipment for rehabilitation.
- Nurses and therapists collaborate to enhance mobility, independence, and daily functioning.
Pediatric Unit Details:
- Age Range: Infants to young adults (up to 21 years old)
- Family-Centered Care: Parents and caregivers are actively involved in therapy sessions.
- Multidisciplinary Team: Includes pediatric physiatrists, nurses, therapists, and child life specialists.
- Individualized Therapy Plans: Includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy tailored to developmental needs.
Nursing & Staff Requirements:
- BLS Certification – Required before the first shift
- ACLS Certification – Required before the first shift (as applicable)
- EPIC Experience – Required
- Strong MedSurg & Rehab Experience – Required
- Pediatric Experience – Preferred for those working with children
