Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Hamilton, Montana. This is a rotating shift position, working 12 hours from 7pm to 7am.
Job Summary:
This role involves providing respiratory care to patients with various conditions. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and respiratory rate.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- RRT certification (or eligible to obtain within 6 months).
- 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in an acute care setting.
