Full-time staff person needed for chiropractic office to assist with patient care and financial responsibilities. Previous medical billing and/or insurance knowledge required. Ideal candidate would have exceptional people skills, be very detail oriented and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and submit medical billing claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize EHR systems and manage patient records and billing information.
- Apply medical coding standards, including CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10, to ensure compliance.
- Conduct medical collections and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and coding updates to enhance billing accuracy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
Summary
As a Medical Insurance Billing Specialist, you will be essential in managing medical collections and ensuring accurate billing processes within our healthcare organization.
