Salary Range: $26 - 30 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

Accurately weld pipes for heating & cooling and fire safety systems to specification while following all safety and company guidelines.

Job Duties:

• Perform out-of-position pipe welding using various welding techniques, including TIG and MIG.
• Read drawings/wiring diagrams, hand tools, and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Use a plasma torch to cut various materials.
• Inspect weld to ensure acceptance of engineering and customer specifications.
• Adhere to all safety processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep accurate records of time worked and material used.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• 2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly, and mechanical drawings.
• Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to do basic computer tasks.
