Salary Range: $26 - 30 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary
Accurately weld pipes for heating & cooling and fire safety systems to specification while following all safety and company guidelines.
Job Duties:
- Perform out-of-position pipe welding using various welding techniques, including TIG and MIG.
- Read drawings/wiring diagrams, hand tools, and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Use a plasma torch to cut various materials.
- Inspect weld to ensure acceptance of engineering and customer specifications.
- Adhere to all safety processes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep accurate records of time worked and material used.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- 2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly, and mechanical drawings.
- Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to do basic computer tasks.
