Job Summary
Manage our company's transportation and delivery operations. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling pickups and deliveries, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely movement of products between our facility and customers.
Job Duties :
- Schedule and coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers, customers, and internal departments
- Optimize delivery routes and shipping schedules to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
- Resolve transportation issues and customer concerns promptly
- Negotiate rates with carriers and manage carrier relationships
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety requirements
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper loading and unloading of materials
- Generate and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement
