SUMMARY: Reviews documentation for product release. Assists with customer complaint duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties not listed here may also be assigned as required/necessary.
· Performs quality assurance review of pharmaceutical component, raw material and batch records to ensure that all steps have been executed correctly, verified where applicable, and that all limits and specifications have been met.
· Provide QA review and/or approval of various documents as needed to support the daily manufacturing process.
· Once trained, may also assist in customer complaint investigations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Position requires an AA or AS degree or equivalent. Any experience in documentation review in the pharmaceutical field is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively to employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Excellent reading comprehension skills, good typing ability and a working knowledge of Personal Computers and Microsoft Office is required.
