- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to business needs.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs seamlessly.
- Enforce robust security best practices to safeguard the site.
- Deliver regular progress updates and clear, concise technical documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in developing and customizing WordPress websites.
- Deep understanding of WordPress core, theme development, and plugin architecture.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Beaver Builder).
- Solid knowledge of WordPress security standards and best practices.
- Expertise in responsive design and mobile optimization techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-driven with a track record of thriving in remote work environments.
- Outstanding time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug efficiently with minimal oversight.

Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the Brand Manager and work closely with our executive leadership team to shape the company's digital future.
Project Timeline
This is a priority role with an immediate start date. This will be a contract to hire position and will focus on the website enhancement project, with the opportunity for extension or permanent employment based on successful outcomes.
Location
This position will be in office at Armstrong Steel Corporate headquarters in Englewood, CO. Candidates must excel in virtual collaboration and maintain consistent communication during standard business hours.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
