ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a motivated Broadband Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of our Internet and telephone services for both residential and commercial customers. You’ll work with cutting-edge fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Install and troubleshoot voice and data services, using the latest test equipment and following our safety and installation guidelines.
- Maintain vehicle inventory and safety compliance.
- Handle physical tasks like climbing, digging, and drilling as needed, while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide timely, detailed paperwork and feedback to help improve our services.
- Stay ahead of trends through continuous training and development.
- Participate in on-call and shift work as required.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma (advanced education in IT, electronics, or a related field is a plus!).
- A customer-first approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
- Physical ability to bend, climb, sit, and lift over 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
