They will support the design, test, and installation of equipment for a new production line, reporting to Research and Development Manager. Interns will work closely with senior engineers on various projects that will allow you to gain a firm understanding of engineering, process improvements and the defense manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities
- Interns will be assigned processes and equipment for test, installation, and prove-out to support a new production line. Opportunities available in: Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering
- Projects are intended to give the interns an opportunity to make meaningful contributions to Armtec’s Engineering Departments and to address real business needs while putting to work the interns’ academic learning
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
- Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies
- Candidate shall be capable of working in an industrial environment and familiar with using standard tools. Approximately 80% of time will be spent on the production floor.
- Candidate shall have excellent attention to detail, learn quickly, have good documentation skills and bring a self-motivated work ethic

- Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to work independently
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Word and Excel
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or have a trade school education in engineering or a related field
- Preferably currently in junior or senior year, exceptional freshmen or sophomores will be considered
- 4x10 work week M-Th and ability to support off-hours as project needs require.
