Primary Responsibilities
- Operates felting, molding, sanding and deflashing
- Must be able to identify components by batch number and provide acceptable workmanship
- Must be able to learn and apply SPC applications, basic problem solving, and basic corrective action
- Must possess good hand and eye coordination/manual dexterity
- Must be able to have a high degree of concentration for an extended period of time
- Ability to adhere to all work instructions per applicable MSPI’s and safety/environmental procedures
- Position may require standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting of 45 lbs
- Good visual inspection and usage of measurement tools
- Position requires employees to be cross-trained or transfer to other buildings/programs by incorporating into a team environment as requested
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
- Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government
- Must have the ability to learn basic machine operations
- Ability to read and comprehend written MSPI instructions in English
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have the ability to learn and apply SPC applications
- Must be flexible to work various work schedules and shifts
- Special training in Visual Standards
- Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate and have the ability to deal with people effectively
- Demonstrate ability in the Armtec competencies as an employee: customer focus, ethics and values, problem solving, integrity and trust, functional/technical skills, listening, action-oriented, composure and values diversity
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
