You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Oral Communication Project Management Technical Competence Basic Requirement for OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST - 1515 Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in operations research; or a degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized experience: To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as; (1) Oversee programs or projects in the area of modeling and simulation data management covering areas such as collection, storage, security, governance, lifecycle management, or standardization; (2) Provide technical guidance on modeling and simulation data management strategies; and (3) Supervise or lead a team in the area of modeling and simulation data management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower pay band/grade level position in the federal service (DB-03/GS-13).
