Summary : This position is located at Fort Shafter School Age Services. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and is eligible for benefits / leave accrual. This position is entitled to 8.64% COLA (Island of Oahu). COLA is subject to change without notice. DoD approved commissary privileges to CYS employees. This temporary approval expires 04 April 2025.
Responsibilities :
- Perform majority of assignments independently with technical assistance from the CYS Coordinator when required.
- Serve as a member of the Installation Child and Youth Evaluation Team to ensure compliance with health, fire, safety, facility, and program regulatory requirements and CYS baseline standards.
- Recruit and hire qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions.
- Supervise and evaluate employees based on established performance standards.
- Develop program budget and provide to CYS Coordinator for CYS budget.
- Manage program to budget and conduct written analyses of budget variances.
- Establish and maintain an active program of parental involvement, providing parent education opportunities and encouraging parent observation and participation.
Qualifications :
Successful completion of an undergraduate Degree that included or was supplemented by major study (at least 24 semester hours) in fields appropriate to the position consistent with :
