Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at the Army Installation Management Command. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and serving food, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish, and pizzas
- Assure that tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned
- Clean other work areas, including walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas
- Take delivery of supplies and ensure proper storage of shipments after delivery
- Serve alcoholic beverages to patrons
- Coordinate food and beverage needs for special events
- Perform cashier duties in the snack bar, receiving payment by cash or charge
- Complete cash reports at the end of assigned shifts
Requirements:
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages
- Able to work without more than normal supervision
- Able to keep things neat, clean, and in order
- Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques
- Able to interpret verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of basic sanitation principles
- Able to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
- Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, stoop, pull, push, and reach
