Job Title: Lead Program Associate
Location: Fort Hunter-Liggett, California
About the Role
This position is with the CYS Teen Center, a Child and Youth Services program. As the Lead Program Associate, you will be responsible for operating the activity or program in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
You will maintain control of accounts for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth, oversee their arrival and departure, and contact parents if they do not arrive or depart as scheduled.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain site records and prepare required reports.
- Ensure the site, equipment, and supplies are adequate and properly maintained and accounted for.
- Coordinate site activity during evacuations and emergencies.
- Use designated evaluation materials to ensure assigned area is in compliance with standards and procedures.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or GED Certificate.
- Be able to communicate in English (both written and oral).
- Be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
- Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, and stoop and stand on a routine basis.
- Possess and maintain health and freedom from communicable disease.
- Possess relevant experience working in a group program with children and/or youth.

Additional Information
This is a Regular Part-Time position with a minimum work week of 20 hours. Eligible for leave accrual and benefits. Shift is 1000-1700 or 1400-2000. Times may vary because of occasional field trips.
