**Job Summary**
As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist with the Army National Guard Units, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment and combat, tactical, and automotive vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical failures, remove and replace parts, and conduct readiness and repair inspections.
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using visual and auditory checks, as well as basic test equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and limited repairs on communication equipment, such as radios and field telephones.
- May perform supply documentation, and receipt, store, issue, and inventory of tools and parts used in the trades operation.
