Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Surface Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Army National Guard Units. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on heavy-duty equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
- Conduct inspections and readiness evaluations to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair engine problems, including removal and disassembly as necessary
- Assist in maintaining production reports and recommending improvements
Requirements:
- At least 18 months of experience in heavy-duty vehicle or equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic equipment and ability to solve complex problems
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
