Job Description
The Operations and Training Specialist is a key position that requires managing and directing the activities of the Operations and Training Division. This includes ensuring ranges, training facilities, training aids, and devices are available to users of the training site.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience in developing long- and short-range plans for range facilities and training areas. They should be able to provide technical guidance and assistance to subordinate workers and assist in resolving complaints and grievances from employees.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with user organizations for use of ranges and training facilities. They should be able to review and approve schedules to ensure maximum training opportunities and participate in the Range Facility Management Support System workshop.
This position requires a Secret security clearance, which the applicant must possess or be able to obtain within one year of appointment.
