We are seeking a highly skilled Surface Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Army National Guard Units. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on heavy-duty equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
- Conducting inspections and readiness evaluations to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnosing and repairing engine problems, including removal and disassembly as necessary
- Assisting in maintaining production reports and recommending improvements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 18 months of experience in heavy-duty vehicle or equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic equipment and ability to solve complex problems
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
